Responsibilities
The MIG Welder will perform a variety of welding and fabrication tasks to ensure that agricultural equipment is manufactured to high quality standards. Responsibilities include:
- Reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings
- Preparing materials and surfaces for welding
- Setting up and operating MIG welding equipment
- Performing welding tasks according to specifications
- Inspecting completed welds to ensure quality and accuracy
- Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
- Examining parts before and after welding to ensure proper fit
