Responsibilities
- Perform welding and fitting tasks using FCAW, SMAW, and GTAW processes.
- Fit and burn plate and structural components according to project requirements.
- Interpret and work from blueprints and technical drawings.
- Maintain high standards of reliability and punctuality in daily work.
- Troubleshoot issues related to welding tasks and equipment.
- Demonstrate strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Perform tasks with dedication, flexibility, and safety awareness.
- Complete assigned duties in marine, aluminum, stainless steel, and structural work (as needed).
Requirements
- Ability to pass welder certification tests.
- Experience in fitting and burning plate/structural materials.
- Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints.
- Experience with FCAW, SMAW, and GTAW in all positions.
- Marine welding experience (an asset).
- Aluminum and stainless steel welding experience (an asset).
- Willingness to work 40+ hours weekly, including shift work.
- Ability to travel for work when required.
