Responsibilities
ARC Welders working on the project will perform a variety of welding and fabrication tasks on-site. Key responsibilities include:
- Performing ARC welding (SMAW) for structural steel, pipelines, and fabrication works
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings and welding symbols
- Preparing and aligning joints before welding operations
- Ensuring high-quality welding that meets project specifications
- Performing welding repairs and maintenance when required
- Following company safety policies and site HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) standards
- Maintaining welding equipment and tools in good working condition
- Supporting fabrication and construction teams on project sites
Requirements
Candidates applying for the ARC Welder position should meet the following requirements:
- 3–5 years of experience as an ARC Welder
- Experience in structural steel and pipeline welding preferred
- Ability to read and understand fabrication drawings
- Relevant welding certification is considered an advantage
- Physically fit and able to work in construction site conditions
- Gulf experience preferred
