Responsibilities
- Clean and maintain sheds across farm sites
- Organize stock and prepare produce for export
- Perform pruning and vine maintenance
- Assist with trellis construction and repair
- Manage irrigation systems
- Monitor pests and diseases in crops
- Control weeds and maintain vineyard health
- Train vines and perform leaf plucking and thinning
- Conduct bunch thinning for quality production
- Harvest grapes carefully based on ripeness standards
- Sort, grade, and pack harvested fruit
- Load produce onto trucks for transport
- Operate farm machinery (training provided if required)
- Perform general farm cleaning and maintenance
Requirements
- Valid Australian driver’s licence
- Own transport to and from the workplace
- Forklift licence
- Chemical handling licence
- Heavy rigid truck licence
- Ability to lift and move 10 kg or more continuously
- Ability to pass pre-employment medical checks
- Willingness to undergo drug and alcohol testing
- Physically fit and capable of working long hours
