Responsibilities

As a Delivery Driver, your responsibilities will include:

  • Operate and drive automobiles, vans, and light trucks to pick up and deliver items
  • Provide professional and courteous customer service at all times
  • Receive and relay information to central dispatch
  • Transport and handle dangerous goods as required
  • Load and unload goods safely and efficiently
  • Record trip details such as mileage, fuel costs, and any vehicle issues
  • Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip vehicle inspections
  • Oversee general vehicle condition and report maintenance concerns
  • Meet tight delivery schedules in a fast-paced environment

Requirements

  • No degree, certificate, or diploma required
  • Valid Class 5 / 5F / G Driver’s Licence
  • Clean driving record (abstract required)
  • Authorization to work in Canada
  • Ability to handle physically demanding work
  • Willingness to work on the road and meet deadlines
  • Training will be provided
