Responsibilities
As a Welder at Epsilon Industries, your key duties will include:
- Performing welding using wire welders and stick welders
- Welding steel components according to engineering drawings and work orders
- Setting up and laying out work using jigs, fixtures, or manual layouts
- Fabricating and assembling multi-component metal parts
- Operating forklifts, hoists, grinders, cutting torches, and hand tools
- Inspecting welds and correcting them to meet quality standards
- Reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and job specifications
- Inspecting equipment and reporting maintenance needs to supervisors
- Supporting fabrication activities and assisting other team members when required
- Cross-training in additional tasks as needed
Requirements
- Suitable combination of education and welding experience
- AWS D1.1 welding certification required
- Minimum 5 years of welding experience preferred
- Ability to read welding symbols, blueprints, and technical drawings
- Familiarity with welding tools such as torches, filler rods, hoses, valves, and gas cylinders
- Experience operating industrial equipment such as forklifts
- Ability to follow safety policies and procedures
- Strong ability to work independently or as part of a team

Work Environment & Physical Demands
This role involves physical work in a manufacturing environment. Employees may stand for 8–10 hours per day, up to 6 days per week. The position requires frequent lifting, bending, climbing, and working with heavy materials. Strong vision abilities, including close vision and depth perception, are necessary to perform welding tasks accurately and safely.
