Responsibilities
As a Cleaner, your duties will include:
- Perform routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, including sinks, toilets, mirrors, and fixtures
- Replenish restroom and cleaning supplies as needed
- Dispose of waste properly and follow recycling procedures
- Clean windows, glass surfaces, and other fixtures
- Use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and effectively
- Follow all health and safety regulations to prevent accidents or contamination
- Assist with scheduled deep-cleaning projects
- Report maintenance issues or supply shortages promptly
- Maintain all assigned areas to high standards of hygiene and presentation
Requirements
- Previous cleaning experience is preferred but not required
- Willingness to learn cleaning techniques and safety procedures
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
- Physically fit and able to perform manual cleaning tasks
- Good communication skills
- Flexibility to work various shifts as required
- Authorized to work in Canada
